Who We Are

Propel Network Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities in Brooklyn and beyond. Founded in 2011, we emerged from a simple belief: that every community has untapped potential waiting to be activated through strategic support and genuine collaboration.

We work at the intersection of community development, education, and economic empowerment. Our approach is rooted in mindful minimalism—focusing on what truly matters, reducing barriers to access, and creating sustainable pathways to opportunity. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we listen, adapt, and co-create programs with the communities we serve.

Based in Brooklyn's vibrant Ocean Parkway neighborhood, we've grown from a grassroots initiative into a trusted community anchor serving over 1,200 individuals annually through partnerships with 35+ local organizations. Our work spans education and training, housing support, economic development, health and wellness, and youth programming.
